At its heart, lies the Commemorative Area, dedicated to honouring the sacrifice of those Australians who have died in war or on operational service and those who have served our nation in times of conflict. The lighting not only enhances the earthy tones of the sandstone but also the reflective atmosphere of the Commemorative Area, paying tribute to the breadth of Australian military service across various regions and conflicts throughout history.
