When it comes to illuminating public spaces, it is essential to meet the needs of communities. Integral Lighting’s commitment to this approach is showcased in Henry Rolland Park, West Basin, installed in 2018. Reflecting on this project, we take immense pride in our contribution to the transformation of Henry Rolland Park, transforming it from an asphalt car park into a premium lakeside destination. This revitalisation greatly increased the area’s usability by introducing open spaces and iconic shelters along the lakefront.
The park’s shelter designs draw inspiration from the local Brindabella mountains and the waters of Lake Burley Griffin, offering an inviting space for visitors to enjoy. The lighting scheme within these shelters played a pivotal role in enhancing the area from day to night. Integral Lighting supplied WE-EF Lighting OLV300 wall light luminaires, strategically positioned upside down to illuminate the shelter roofs, ensuring a functional and safe environment at all hours.
